Q. What types of products are evaluated?
A. Consumer products that are found in Retail Outlets such as Grocery Stores, Warehouse Club Stores, Retail Chains, Consumer Electronic Stores, Home Improvement Stores and/or Drug Stores.
Q. How do I become a member?
A. Click-on the "Register" button and complete the survey. Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email that will need to be clicked to complete the process.
Q. Does it cost me anything?
A. It costs you absolutely nothing, other than your time.
Q. Are you trying to sell us something?
A. Absolutely not. All we want are your honest opinions about products.
Q. What will you be doing with my personal information?
A. All information that you provided will be held strictly confidential. None of it will be shared outside of this organization.
Q. How do I redeem my rewards points?
A. With the rewards points you earn, you can redeem them for great online giftcards, offered through our partner, Tango Card. To view your earned rewards, simply click on the “Rewards” tab at the top of your member account page. You will see your total rewards points balance on this page. From there, you can click on the "redeem" button, where you will be shown a full list of online giftcard vendors to choose from. Simply select the vendor of your choice and the denomination of the gift card you are interested in.
IMPORTANT: Prior to making your selection, please review all terms and conditions associated with a particular online giftcard vendor. Your account balance will be verified then, debited and your giftcard will arrive electronically to the email address on file within 24 hours.
Q. How do I receive my reward?
A. At the successful completion of an online survey, you will be shown a “thank you” page that indicates the amount of the rewards points you earned, which will be immediately available for you to view via the rewards page tab. IMPORTANT: You will not receive an email to confirm your reward. You will need to come back to the IHPT web page and go to the rewards page to check your points balance and go to redeem your points.
Q. Why haven’t I received my reward points?
A. Rewards points are only provided to respondents who fully complete a survey as instructed. Additionally, only rewards points are credited to those who qualify to participate in a study. Rewards points are not given out to individuals who do not meet the specific qualifications needed for a particular study.
Q. Do I have to redeem all my rewards points at once?
A. No. You can collect your rewards points and redeem them for the online giftcard(s) of your choosing when you see fit, in the amount that you choose. Any points that you don’t use, will remain in your balance and can be used on a separate occasion(s)
Q. Do my rewards points ever expire?
A. No, your rewards points never expire and can be accumulated, till you are ready to redeem them for the online giftcard(s) of your choosing.
Q. Can I use my rewards points for more than one type of online giftcard?
A. You can use your rewards points toward any online gift card that is offered through the Tango Card service. If you are interested in redeeming your rewards points for multiple online giftcard vendors from Tango Card, you will be able to do that as well. Please visit the rewards tab from our website, click redeem, and you will be able to see the full list of online giftcards offered through our partner, Tango Card.
Q. Do my online giftcards ever expire?
A. You need to check the terms of the conditions for each onine gift card seller, as they are unique and are not controlled by In Home Product Testing.
Q. What if I have an issue with using my online gift card?
A. Team Tango Support is here to help! Please feel free to contact them by phone at 1-877-55-TANGO (82646) between 8AM - 6PM (PST), Monday through Friday. Or send them an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. They will respond to all messages within one (1) business day.
Q. Can I redeem my points for cash?
A. No. Points can only be redeemed for online giftcard(s) through our partner, Tango Card.
Q. Can I transfer my points to someone else or to another site?
A. No. Points are not transferrable. They can only be used by you personally, while you are an active member of the In Home Product Testing panel whose membership is in good standing.
